
Stirchley Podiatry started in 2023 from Bournville Health Hub on Mary Vale Road, growing from strength to strength the local community have helped the practice to thrive meaning as of October 2025 we have moved to a new location to the Portacabins on the grounds of River Brook Medical Practice.

Together, Helena, Minal and Danielle have a wealth of experience as Podiatrists.
There is nothing they haven't seen when it comes to feet!

Minal Padhiar trained at the Northampton school of Podiatry and has been qualified for 24 years. Working within the NHS she has gained specialist experience in wound care and management. Her role within the NHS involves the assessment and treatment of "high risk" patients, working closely within a multi-disciplinary team both in the community and hospital settings
Attending many conferences and training days has kept Minal up to date with latest technology and practices within Podiatry. Minal is about to embark on a Masters degree unit to become a non-medical prescriber.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, walking, swimming and reading.

Danielle is a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist who has been qualified since 2014, with a strong focus on prevention, education and empowering people to take control of their foot health. Her approach is clear, supportive and patient centred.
Danielle brings valuable experience from her time working within the NHS, where high standards and consistency were fundamental and continue to influence her professional practice.
Alongside her clinical background, Danielle is a Lecturer in Podiatry at the Universtiy of Wolverhampton, where she supports and inspires the next generation of Podiatrists through practical insight, academic thinking, and real-world perspective.
Outside of Podiatry, Danielle enjoys spending time at the gym, reading and travelling.

Helena graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2011 with BSc(Hons) in Podiatry. Helena went on to work in the NHS, spending the majority of her career in Yorkshire, working in Diabetes, Clinical Education and Advanced Practice.
Helena is a non-medical prescriber and in 2020 completed a Masters in Podiatry focusing on Diabetes and Research. She has co-authored multiple papers and enjoys presenting these at national conferences, recently attending the European Wound Management Association Conference in Barcelona. Her clinical and academic accomplishments have led her to achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).
She is experienced in minor surgery and all aspects of footcare, however continues to expand her knowledge of up to date effective treatments available.
Helena continues to split her time between Stirchley Podiatry and her NHS role as Clinical Team Lead in Solihull.
Any spare time Helena has is usually spent walking with her dog Alfie who you might see around the establishments of Stirchley.

Jo is the friendly voice who will return your calls to book in your appointments.
She is an experienced administrator and has a wealth of knowledge about podiatry.

Alfie has recently been promoted to Chief Morale Officer.
Although you won't see him at Stirchley Podiatry, if you do see him around Stirchley and Cotteridge he enjoys a fuss and a treat!
